My husband is also in Iraq and will be coming home this summer. We are planning to spend three nights at Turtle Bay in Hawaii. It is on Oahu. We are going to have a couples massage in a cabana on the beach and dine at some super nice restaurants. Besides that I think that we won't make any plans. It will be the first time in months that he hasn't had other people dictating how he lives every minute of his life. My plan is to not jump into that role of planning things for us to but to just let him be. He can set the tone for what he wants us to do. Also, there is a 7 day cruise around to all the Hawaiian islands and they offer a military discount. Good food and relaxation. Have fun planning and good luck.

If you have the money to spend then go somewhere romantic you can enjoy being alone. I wouldn't plan anything far from home though because most guys deployed to Iraq are home for three-five days then they have to go back to Iraq a few more times. I'd wait on the vacation and do something nice at home cause that's where he will want to be most after being gone so long.

I urge you to take your vacation to Thailand and stay in Chiangrai and Chiang Mai. Both are small towns that far from Bangkok. The weather during December month is the same like living in San Francisco. I had a vacation there. I loved the food, people and my inexpensive trip was very exuberant.

Why not something where he doesn't have to travel. I'm sure a picnic in the back yard with you and maybe some candles would be just great. Think about how he is going to feel about travel. I may be wrong, but my son just got back and he doesn't want to go anywhere except to the mall. HA. Good luck and kiss him for me when he gets back. They all deserve a kiss and hug for a job well done. God Bless.

in case your husband is in Iraq his acceptable vacation may likely be homestead - each thing that he's acquainted with and does no longer ought to agonize about miscommunication. ensure that your husband needs to bypass on a holiday in the first position. once you're searching as some thing unique, in spite of the money, take a cruise on the carribian or bypass to dominican republic or jamaica. in case you want some thing easier, inspite of the actuality that, basically take a bypass-united states vacation - that's tutorial, exciting, and also you get to spend a lot of time at the same time.

Cruise to Caribbean islands is not expensive if you reserve in advance. It's fabulous vacation, very memorable and not for a very high price.

It's like you turn out in the whole different world, away from reality.

give him the opposite of what he has now. Some place without worry, be romantic, have his favorite foods avail. Maybe Hawaii with you.
