I'm 14 and my friend came over and we went skinni dipping in my pool. We ended up tanning on a pool floaty with her laying on top of me. She sometimes touched me down there and I did the same. Are we bi?

I may not be bi and I,m a adult male, but i feel qualified to give a educated answer. I,m a licensed, practicing psychiatrist and my chosen specialty is so called "troubled youth". Most of them between the ages of eleven and twenty one.I was surprised that so many of them asked me for advice about their 'Real" sexuality. After extended study failed, I talked to older teen girls and two boys,separately and together for their input. I've found out that the majority of the girls in their preteen and early (11-20)years are at least bi curious. It is not a bad thing. At your age you should be able to experience full orgasms. I'm of the "if it feels good and its mutual" school of thought about this. Whether its kissing, caressing, or as in your example full body contact or oral (cunningulous) its all acceptable. It doesnt mean you're lesbian. If it does lead to that discovery, are'nt you glad you found out now. Above all, do'nt feel guilty of anything you do. From what i've ascertained bi is probably the best of two worlds. I personally am not bi, but i do have two family members that are . It's done neither them or my clients any harm other than making some of them feel their experience or experiences were shameful. They are not! I would suggest you be a little more discrete about your surroundings. At least for now. One of my family belongs to a highly honored soroity where being bi or lesbian is a must. She's happy and well adjusted. In the way of all profesionals, I'm being long winded. Advice: Do what feels good. Which way you go in life will come to you naturally. Dr. ummmmm Feelgood.

For you to write about it and ask a questions like this makes you "brave" as well as whatever you are. Are you Bi? I think its too early to say. I would let this experience sink it at first. When we are young we tend to experiment and get familiar with our own bodies through other bodies like our own. To try this with close friends, perhaps, is easier than with strangers. I am pretty sure this experience is probably one of those. Give it time and you will find out.

I would suggest you might be more curious - I think sometimes it has more to do with wondering what it would be like to be with yourself than it is "being" with the same sex. But if you get to a point where the gals turn your head more than the guys do....you might want to reevaluate. Either way, be safe & just be YOU.

I wouldn't say your bi yet. I would say your having a fun time with your friend. now if it comes to making out and doing other sexual things then i think you could be bi unless you dont like boys

Not necessarily, you might just be experimenting. Now, if you really liked it, and wanna do it again and are attracted to girls as well as boys, then yes, you are bi.

Do you like boys? If yes, then probaly. Dont try to put a label on things. Just enjoy life. If you like it, then do it, if not, leave it alone.
