Put basically, I'm clumsy. I accidentally spilled some milk on my Verbatim Jump Drive the other day and I'm wondering if I'm facing any risk because of it.

These types of drives are typically pretty resilient. I've seen them go through washing machines & dryers without harming them whatsoever. To clean it, I would just rinse it off, or use a damp cloth to wipe it clean, if it's dried on there.

Clean it with alcohol and a lint free cloth. Let it dry dry dry. As long as it is dry when you plug it back in you should be alright.
