That's a great question!!!

I mean, what exactly IS happiness? Is it just the absence of disappointment and just giving up? Is happiness therefore an important ingredient in persistence and staying the course to reach a goal in life? Is happiness the knowledge that a man is living a life to the best of his ablities? That he accepts himself but still keeps on improving himself?

I believe that a feeling of accomplishment goes a long way towards happiness. It's really incredible to know to have achieved something, anything. I mean, it could be that a man (and you're asking about men only) is an expert in always making breakfast for his girlfriend/ wife/ family. Or that he is really good at always finding the right words when someone is upset. Or he could be a great boss (who maybe happens to make a lot of money). But people like to work for him because he is a great leader and he appreciates them.

He makes other people happy. And in return he'll also have a sense of happiness and accomplishment.

Money is part of happiness too. Having $$$ is important!

So for a man to be complete I think that he would be accomplished, steady, reliable, taking care of himself so he always looks great, and pursue his goals without ignoring other priorities.

Happiness is really just the end result of a lot of things that make up the complete puzzle of a life well lived.

Well, "complete" and "happiness" are both very ambiguous, elusive terms.
Complete is something defined by the individual, and that defenition could quite possibly change throughout one's life. It seems entirely possible to me that a person could feel that they are complete one day, and then feel they are not complete the very next day. Without a universal definition of what makes one complete, it's impossible to say, except by our own, individual judgement. Likely, if there is a universal truth, it comes either at the moment of death, or whenever we complete what may be our purpose(s) on this earth.
Happiness is just as elusive and mutable as completeness, and, thus, just as difficult to nail down. However, since we all know that happiness comes and goes throughout our lives, I'd have to say that one's own definition of being "complete" is likely not dependent on being "happy". Of course, it's all up to the person seeking to be complete.
Also, while a person may feel complete, their friends and loved ones may not agree, or may see something that the man or woman doesn't see, or refuses to see. For example, a man might feel complete without a woman in his life, and may even say this to his friends. His friends, however, may know that he is fooling himself, and is actually afraid to get close to a woman, due to past hurt.
There are tons of permutations to the equation, so, once again, it's nearly impossible to say. Isn't all the ambiguity in life wonderful? ;)

Happiness is in the eye of the beholder. What is happiness? Everyone is complete with or with out happiness.

Complete? Not happy ,,,but not incomplete....complete means mature, whole (could include happiness) but then who's really happy? I think.
Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes I'm sad......I don't think the two (happiness and complete go together )

Maybe you should define what you mean by complete.

I don't think anyone is ever complete! You may have happy times, but there always seems to be something missing.
