Judging by your picture, you know you are asking a dumb question. But hey, just cause your team comes up short every year doesn't mean its not important

I love baseball so the answer is no. There are times like last years world series where I rather not watch it. I wanted the Cardinals to win, but every time my dad watches a team I want to win they lose. Hence the fact I did not watch. I live in Michigan and I wanted nothing more than for the Tigers to lose. Why you might ask? I was/am so tired of people talking about the Cinderella story, or from the worst team to the best team. I cant help but laugh cause they choked in the game that was supposed to prove who the best actually was/is. Don't get me wrong I liked (yes liked) the tigers at one time, but not anymore.

Are you out of your mind??? Baseball is the greatest sport ever invented by man. The World Series in reality is only the first step in what should be a world tournament. The team that wins in the majors needs to play the Japanese champion. The reason I would not include the Cuban League is because they would never play their league champion but rather put together their all star team to play everyone else and that is not in the true spirit of the game. Maybe after Castro dies Cuba can rejoin the world.

Depends on whether or not you like baseball. If the answer is no, then of course you would consider the World Series a waste of time.

I love baseball, so you can imagine what my answer is.

On the other hand, I do not like that the October Classic is now the Halloween Classic.

Depending on your point of view and interest anything can be a waste of time you typing this stupid question is a waste of time and me answering it is a bigger waste of time. I love baseball so I think that the world series is a great sporting event.

HECK NO!!!, That is the game to prove who is the best. Everyone thought the tigers were the best team in baseball this year, BUT NO NO, THEY LOST TO THE CARDNELS IN THE WORLD SERIES!!! THe cardinals had the worst season record in the playoffs. I am a yankee fan, and i can only express 26 times why there should be a world series

Another really good question! I don't believe it is a complete waste of time but certainly it can be said that the Series is no longer the true test of who's the best. I feel that the two teams with the best overall record should be considered the only two worthy of playing for the honor of best of the best.

Are you talking about the World Baseball Classic last year before the season started? If you are, then yes.
But if you are talking about the October Classic, then only if you are a Cub fan.

No, but the World Series of Poker is as well as asking this question.

The New York Giants thought so in 1904.

They did something that World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam could not and has only been replicated by the players being babies...they stopped the world series because it didn't matter to them.

Of course, to us fans.....it DEFINATELY matters.

(As a Giants fan...I love what they did in 1904)
