i came across some scan...but they were in japanese...i didnt understand a thing..(since i can't read/write/speak/understand japanese)

the saiyuki offroad that you're talking about is a manga released by minekura kazuya.. it features 5 short stories done by minekura and her team of artists as well as sketches form saiyukireload and gaiden.. unfortunately it can only be acquire through a zero sum order in japan (<- frustrating... :c)
i've seen some scans online and the artwork was just gorgeous!

Saiyuki Offroad has recently been re-released and is now available for sale at http://www.animate-onlineshop.jp/ but you'll probably have to use a 3rd party site to purchase and get it shipped to you because I don't think they ship internationally. I use shoppingmalljapan.com myself. I'm actually waiting on my copy to come in the mail right now.
