Did you like better as Burt Reynold when he was
being Burt Reynolds, or in later movies
like Sharky's Machine, when he
became or tried to become an actor? Or is this
question like so many other questions in here,
and I'm pushing my views and attitudes down
your throat?

Actually, I think Burt Reynolds has never stopped been being Burt Reynolds, even while acting, which is what I find appealing about him. He always has seemed to have a hint of laughter and mischievousness about him -- as if he and his friend, Dom De Luise, are about to do something silly!

I really liked him when he was just starting out. Now I have forgotten what he
was first in. I know he played a part Indian. I haven't seen or heard of anything
about him in a long time. Is he still alive?? To answer your question whether you are pushing your views down anyone's throat. I don't think so. If people can't
think for themselves, too bad. : }

I think he was always being Burt Reynolds cause that's whohe is. Unfortunately, we all get old. I thought he was funny when he was younger.
