I am completely starting over and have not had any college before. I have children whom I want to make proud. I don't have very much time because I need a jump start first and can then pursue the career further once I am established. I love helping children and the health care profession. please help!

you really need to go to college and get some education.
Even working with children usually needs an ECE or an ECA (early childhood education degree or assistant diploma ).
Otherwise you could open an unlicensed daycare in your home, but you need to be careful you dont take too many kids or you will be in breech of safety regulations.

Try nurses aid and then find a vo tec school of nursing and start to rock your kids world and show them that you are the best Mom ever. wages starting pretty slow but the very end result is what your looking for .........................success
