I want a fast, virus free OS for my old PC.?

Something that has concurrent multi-tasking, on upto 20 Desktops, and can open hundreds of windows, and comes with thousands of applications, games, suites, programs.

I will prefer you to use Windowsxp professional sp-2.
Or if your p.c is that much capable to handle Windows vistas you can use that
