yes, it is stealing, but should you call the police or file charges for it..........no. unless you don't want to keep your girlfriend, then i guess you could make an issue of it.

First of all why did she take them if i may ask? Did you ask her why and have her tell you her reasoning behind this? Yes it is stealing and wrong BUT I am wondering why she would even do such a thing to begin with. Is your girlfriend possessive of you? Is she jealous of the ex? I feel if she is this insecure and jealous then you should ask her for them back and then break it off with her and let her go. Good luck to you. I feel that she should have asked you to get rid of them before takeing or stealing them from you. How she handled it was wrong. She may very well need counseling and help for her insecurities and jealousy. Are you completely over your ex or do you bring her up alot? I am just asking.

Yes it is.Are you shacking with her?If so just think, if she werent living with you, you wouldnt have this problem. It also sounds like she feels threatened by the fact that she is supposed to be your g/f and you still have your ex's pics and letters. She may be fearfull of you still having feelings for her and is afraid those things will stir your heart towards your ex.Its a mess.Tell her you want them back and if she doesnt give them back its over and youre taking her to court. This will prove to her that you are willing to put your ex's pics and letters above a relationship with her.Or you can tell her you understand how she feels and you are willing to let it go this time, but if she ever does anything like this again, its over.

No it's the stupidity of a man who keeps those things around for his girlfriend to find so she can steal them. Once your relationship with your girlfriend became serious you should have shoe boxed them and put them in a place that she wouldnt see them or got rid of them. Whats wrong with men, are they really that dumb?

"Stealing"? And are you going to tell the police? She 's just worried or jealous, apparently. Make her feel like there's only her in your heart, she'll get over this. And tell her that she wouldn't like it either if you took something hers without permission. If it doesn't work out, you'd better leave her.

yes in a way if you were going to throw them out then you should have been the one to do so women have a big tendency to over step that bound and you need to say something to her not in a mean way but she was way out of order and this is coming from a women so you know she wrong

She was very wrong for doing that. I asked my BF to get rid of a naked pic he had of his ex, and he did. But I would not have taken nor destroyed it, had he refused. I would be upset about that.

it depends on the depth of your relationship, if this is a new fairly casual thing then she is completely wrong, but if this is a long term, serious thing, whilst she is still technically wrong, you must be able to see why she did this, how would you feel if she still kept her past so prevelant in your relationship, her actions were wrong but the ideals behind it not
