I'm not sure about the first question but New York or Chicago hold the biggest parade in hicago they dump green coloring in the Chicago River and they have a parade, in New York with like a ton of blimps and stuff it's pretty cool.

St patrick died on March 17 in AD 461. That day has been commemorated as St. Patrick's Day ever since.
And it is probley celebrated most america they have brillient parades!! i would love to go there for st paddys day

The largest is New York. Second is Savannah Georgia, or Boston Mass, (they switch all the time) then Chicago.
