I am curious. R. Kelly obviously has some serious problems. The biggest one is that he is a child molestor in my opinion. He ran away with Aaliyah and she was only 14, and he was in his 20s. Now he is urinating on children??????? He might have a nice singing voice. But as a mother, I think that he belongs in jail!! Not with all these people worshipping him. In my opinion, the man is sick and I will never give a PENNY of my money so he can remain rich and famous while he victimizes our children. What is so great about him that people can overlook all of this and still be a fan? Some people think that it is funny, I think that it is horrible!

I know how you feel. I'm not a parent, but I will be a teacher soon and honestly I care about all my students. I would hate to see something like that happen to them. Sadly, it's his financial status that has helped him. He can pay people to keep things quite, and he keeps his fans happy with the music they love. With album promos always in the spotlight it keeps the reality of what he's done on the back burner. I was once a fan, but like you I can no longer support him.

Exactly! You are 100% right! I wish more people thought the same way you do. However, can you see now how corrupt and valueless our society is? The music industry still gives R. Kelly money and admiration. When someone like him is put on a pedestal, instead of in jail, we are in serious trouble as a country.
You give me hope that there are still good people out there. Great question!

We live in a world obsessed with celebrities. Why do so many people, especially women buy gossip magazines? Do they realise that they're are supporting these people who are poor role models for our children? We, the public make these people famous and rich. He is famous for the music, and people will ignore that because they like his music. Nearly all of us have done something wrong in our life, but we're not exposed like they are. It is wrong, but people don't care about that aspect after the tabloids have moved on to something else. I don't mean to defend him but he saw that girl as a female, and urinating on others...that is a fetish that some might not understand. I don't think that is against the law.

Just another person with status and money allowed to get away with what ever he wants to. He paid off people already to avoid charges. He should be in jail, like all child molesters and rapists, for life.
