hi im gona be 18 next month but i've always wanted to play the drums. do you think 18 is too late to start and get good at it?
2 of my friends play guitar and bass n said they wanna form a band with me in it. dunno if id do that but id luv to at least play the drums and get good at it.
any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Well....let's see....I started teaching a guy who was 40...then taught another guy..and he was 60....

If you really really went for it, spent all your spare time practicing and had a couple of lessons a week, I guess you could learn quite quick.
Just make sure that you're not romanticized with the idea of being in a band and after 3-4 months (and considerable tuition fee) you find you've lost interest.

No way! 18 isn't too old! There's no age limit! If playing the drums is something you want to do, you go ahead and learn them!

it's never to late. check out the local music store. lots of guys put up notices for lessons to make a couple bucks. good luck and rock on.

It's never too late to do things like that!!
Just practice hard and it'll just be like starting when you were in 5th grade!

if it is ur own heart saying it then go by it.life is all about learning and learning.at every stage u learn then weather it is at the age of2 or 20 or70.my suggestion is 2 listen 2 ur heart and leave upto god the rest
