I am a registered nurse. I give blood transfusions and take care of all kind of bloody situations at work, but when I cut my finger, requiring stitches or one of my kids would get hurt, I almost pass out!

We all bleed, we are human. Blood is simply the liquid that courses through our veins to keep us alive. I don't ever feel weak by the sight of blood or injuries, I have had too many in my time to worry.

NO what DOES make me weak is still a sight of what comes from a person but it can be alot scarier, or sadder than seing an injury.

It is called emotions. Some of those make me feel weak when they are released from within.

As spinny as I am, I am also a very practical woman who is trained and can respond to just about any emergency situation (though I definitely would prefer not to).

That being said... I hate blood. I can't stand the smell (dirty pennies) and the sight of my own seems to do odd things to me. Things like taking my vertical presence and flipping it horizontal. I have pitched onto my face several times at the sight of my own blood. Very embarrassing.

No. I wouldn't say I love it, cause that would make me strange, but I don't get weak, I am pretty used to it, as a little kid I had very weak capilaries and my nose would bleed a lot, as an adult I've had my share of bleeding, and of seeing others bleed and I say I can handle it pretty well, specially during accidents...I am strong when it is needed, but once the danger is gone I feel like a prune...all dried up and weak.

I cannot handle a wide open gash in someones skin! I don't think it's the blood that gets to me.

I get pretty upset if mine is outside me. Not weak, really, but with diabetes, infection is a major danger, so I get worried about it.
