I’m not sure because he might not sign back with the Yankees after this season. And I don’t know if the Sox will jump on him and sign him.

I have a feeling they will. With Mike Lowell’s contract up next season and A-Rod possibly up for grabs I bet they will take A-Rod. Mike Lowell has a big contract that he can’t play up to. Also, A-Rod says he doesn’t really like it in New York and the fans don’t like him. I even read an article that said A-Rod would like to come to Boston. If that does happen let’s hope him and Varitek can figure out their differences before hand.

He very well could, they almost got him a few years ago but then the Yankees got involved.A-Rod and Jeter do not get along, and well if you don't get along with Jeter you don't get along with the team. Also many Yankee fans hate him. They call him a choker and a loser. They overlook the fact that he is one of the best players in history.Although he has stated he would like to spend the rest of his carrer in New York things could change.Maybe the Yankees won't even want to resign him,who knows? It will be a very good day for Red Sox fans if he does come to Boston,he could always switch back to shortstop if they still have Lowell by then.

Great question! Just a guess. No I don't believe so. I think the Sox will toy with it to keep the Yankees guessing but I don't believe they want him. The Sox already know he will not likely end up with an AL contender whatever happens and I believe that's good enough for them to toy with it but actually buy elsewhere.

A-Rod is not going to get traded to the Red Sox with the kind of deal he got from the Yankees. What he would have got ( $ )from the Rangers ( Texas ) is what he's getting with the Bronx Bombers.

Why would they do something that stupid? He's already proven that he chokes in the clutch . When he does do you think that the fans in Boston are going to go easier on him than the fans in New York ? I don't
A-Rod needs to go play in a place where he can add to his statistics but not worry about the pressure that comes with actually trying to win a World Series.

As an excellent pink Sox fan, it really is disrespectful now to not honor Lou Gehrig as no longer in person-friendly words between the great of all time yet as a great guy as well. you'll continuously get the yahoo's (No offense Y!) that isn't affiliate something to do with the Yankees with themselves. Gehrig's in person-friendly words difficulty replaced into that he replaced into oftentimes overshadowed with assistance from the Babe, like in 1927 even as Ruth hit his 60 HR's.

Personally, I wouldn't have him. He's an over-priced, pretty boy. He's all for A-Rod and not a team player. He would be a cancer on the team.

I can't see the RedSox being able to pull this off unless they get rid of Manny Ramirez.
