Crawfish (you've got to be from up north) taste like a cross between lobster & shimp. Down south we boil them outside in a gas broiler . People put whole potatoes, corn on the cob, onions with the crawfish. Being Cajun it's a backyard picnic all summer long. They are great.

They taste like shrimp or lobster tails. They are just like them, so it shouldn't take much nerve to try those.

Darn good.

They are a bit like shrimp, only more strongly flavoured. Not as strong as lobster though.

It's one of my favorites. Down south we call them crawfish and they are found in all sorts of really fabulous Cajun dishes, my favorite being crawfish etoufee (sp). If you like shrimp and/or lobster you owe it to yourself to try it.
