I must admit I don't know what a 'higgley town hero' is. If anything, the winner, Steve, made me think of a pint-sized Italian opera singer! I was half expecting him to explode into an aria from a Verdi or Puccini masterpiece!!!

Yes, I was also sorry Ben didn't win. I reckon the two judges had made their minds up long before the final 'cook-off'. What a right pair were John Torode and Gregg Wallace; half the time they criticised everything ... but it didn't stop them stuffing their faces to capacity!!!

Hi, I don't know what Higgley town hero's is but i think that Ben should have won Masterchef he was much more consistent, all the food he produced looked fantastic he just lost it because of the final pudding he made... he must have been gutted
