Is there an anonymous way to receive cash gifts or plane tickets without giving out personal details?

If someone wants to send money or prepay a plane ticket, how can they do it without me giving them my real name? (Example, Ikobo uses your email address but gives the sender your real name.)

How many laws are you willing to break? You can always set up a real mailbox under an alias and use snail mail, but for airline tickets you will need fake ID to claim them, and that is not legal.
