A dog. We just tried to adopt a dog from a shelter and they passed us over. There were four puppies and we really wanted one. That's the last time I try and do a good deed. I guess we didn't pass the "test".

At this point I don't think we can handle any more. We have so far adopted a beagle,(Elvis), four cats,(Priscilla, Tammy, Chip, and Ginger), and a turtle (Flash).
Can we say we've done our good deeds? At least for now?
Any more and they might run us out of the house.

I have adopted a cat and a dog.
I love them both but if I had to choose one I must always have a pet kitty.
