how do you find out your cell phone PIN number? I threw away my cellphone info. customer service doesnt help?

i cant get into my phone somehow and what the heck is a PUK number?

call customer service and tell them you need the PUK CODE

customer service only has that number
and after so many times of puttin it in wrong it will fry your sim card n you will have to get a new one
