Oh wow, pile on the pressure will ya? In my eyes, it's probably someone who never even hold the strap. Men like Jake Roberts, Brian Pillman, Scott Hall, Owen Hart, and Curt Hennig (in the major leagues, not MSW). These men are the epitome of good wrestling to me, mostly because people like Hennig and Roberts do what's best for the industry, they put the newer guy's over and don't hog the glory. These men also work their butts off with no reward, and usually, put on a better show in and out of the ring than some champions.
Now if I had to split hairs, mix Kayfabe with Unkayfabe, I'd say Eddie Guerrero or Ric Flair. Eddie was a work horse, and a talented one at that, plus he's seen success with the world title. Flair too is a work horse, a veteran, a charismatic uber heel, and a talented in-ring performer willing to put it on the line for the fans...and holding the world title 16 times and creating the most renowned faction of all time doesn't exactly lower his stock. I'll go Flair.

In terms of who earned the most for a company in terms of revenue from merchandise, book sales, dvd sales, ticket sales and ppv buy rates the answer would be Stone Cold Steve Austin (his t-shirts outsold all of Mark Henry's stuff 2 million times over!)
The best person who had great matches and made other people also look fantastic would be Shawn Michaels. His in-ring performances would always leave fans cheering. His Wrestlemania performances at WM 12, 14, 19, 20, 21 and arguably 22 were show stealers and the blood he lost at Survivor Series 2003 put alot of emotion into a deserving match

I would like to say Sting cause he's my favorite, but Bret Hart was always a close second and I think he's the better wrestler, and probably the best of all time..Chris Jericho was always underrated, like Jeff Jarrett. But Ric Flair is still wrestling..Final Answer-BRET HART..The best there is, The Best there was, and the Best there ever will be!!E-e-e-eVER, and that's bottom line, if you smell what the rock is cookin', wooooooo!

HBK! He broke his back wrestling, yet he is still at it and loves what he does. You can tell he loves the wrestling business because the way he shows up on camera, he oozes happiness and gratefulness, and he deserves more respect from those stupid "Cena is Unbeatable" folks on here. Wake up and smell the blood, sweat, and tears that Shawn has inserted into this business. He is the best, and forever will be the best!

Either Ric Flair or Triple H. No two superstars have continuoulsy proved themselves and won so many championships, like 27 or 28 combined. That is truly impressive.
