The categorical imperative demands that man be guided by a rule which , being absolutely independent of the moral content of an action , could become a universal rule of behaviour .
The rule can be called as GOLDEN RULE .

if you accept the golden rule as: "Treat others only in ways that you're willing to be treated in the same exact situation." then Kant's concept could be tantamount to it.
