Many of us don't want no part of that mentality and movement that your mothers started in the West sometime back in the 60's or 70's.. Keep it, and stick it where the sun don't shine.. Well, I'm sure for many the sun shines there too ( disgusting ) An empowered woman in the west is another word for a cougar whore. Please, keep your loose ways, and your empowered, egotistical, ill- sophisticated, money spending ways in AMERICA ONLY!

"Peter W" you are suddenly an "Asian woman," who wants us "white women" to keep our "empowered mentality" to ourselves? What happened to the male, woman-hating, unbalanced construction worker "Peter W" who posts here all the time, talking about how women shouldn't be allowed to work as volunteers on building houses in New Orleans because it will embarrass him too much if he farts, or about how women are evil because you got shouted down for tapping a woman on the arm? Could it be that there two "Peter W's?" One who is male, unbalanced, loney, and bitter, and wants to blame all women for his misery, and another "Peter W" who is a female, Asian, "traditional", hates the idea of being self-fulfilled and "empowered," yet for some strange reason is UNsophisticated (and crass) enough to refer to "sticking it where the sun don't shine" and imply that for some, "the sun shines there too" (whatever the hell THAT craziness means!)? Nah...sounds like the same crazy old curmudgeon to me!

I dont think you can make all white women responsibel for the values transported through the media and education system. Besides not all white women are like that and if you consider that some Asian women get as trashy when exposed to the same input it has really not to do much with race.

Wow -- you sound very angry at a group of people you obviously don't know or understand. You are right that no one has the right to force you to change your ways.... so don't. Since you didn't ask a question I have nothing to answer -- but I would like to say that the attack on empowered women is insulting. But I will not return the insults, instead I will forgive you for the generalizations and move on.

I may be a man, but I'm also Asian. And a white guy pretending to be an Asian woman and appearing to speak on behalf of Asian women is offensive to me. So, in short, shut up.

I'm Indian & I don't understand you. I believe in the equality of the sexes. The differences between sexes are purely biological . All other differences are created by cultural conditioning & stereotypical thinking. We should try thinking ofourselves as human beings first & foremost & then sex, colour, caste ,creed etc
