Use an electric shaver. That's the best way. You could try waxing it, but there aren't many women that can tolerate a full brazilian bikini wax. Waxing lasts longer than shaving, but it's brutal. There's also laser hair removal. It's supposed to be permanent, but you need six or seven treatments to permanently remove the hair. Laser hair removal is expensive, and it is not painless. Laser hair removal can be quite painful, especially in the bikini area.

Believe it or not, pubic hair is there for a reason other than appearance. It provides some protection for the pubic region and also helps in keeping germs at bay externally.
If you really MUST have a "bare" area, I recommend waxing with a GOOD wax product. Many over the counter products don't work as good as the ones you find in beauty supply stores.
Yes, you can also shave, but you better have a VERY steady hand. A lot of tissue in that area. I have known a couple of women who slipped. Somehow I just can't myself expalining to an ER doc why I am cut bad enough to require a suture. Shaving also creates a stubby effect quickly.
If you choose wax....be prepared to say "OUCH" a LOT and loudly. It DOES smart. It will bring tears to your eyes. Waxing effects last longer than shaving and have a cleaner finish. However you can only use wax on the more "solid" or "taut" skin/tissue.
If you live in an aprartment complex...warn your neighbors. "I am waxing my privates today...not being brutalized" . It may prevent some judicious tenant from calling the police and telling them you are being beaten. YES, it can hurt that bad the first few times and you will yelp.
Have fun.....:)

Waxing correctly is the best way. If you keep waxing you will eventually notice that your hair is not growing back as thick. My sister has really dark hair and started waxing her 'stache in her teens ,by the time she was 20 her mustache was gone and she didn't have to worry about it again. When you keep pulling the hair out of the follicle it eventually dies. Don't use the hair removal creams they will cause the hair to come back thicker and coarser than before. If you have a boyfriend and are comfortable with him, ask for his help. It is a big turn on for a guy.

Shave. Try using hair condition instead of shaving cream. I have tried the at home waxing and trust me, it's a whole lot of OUCH without getting a lot of the hair. The hair remover cremes burn, so I wouldn't do that either.

once you've a lot of hair down there, evaluate first making use of a pair of buzzers or maybe scissors to get almost all of it. next, lather up the realm and use a clean razor and shave it. i love the adult men's Mach 5 razor....the girls human beings's razors i have used basically look now to not do besides. once you're finished, positioned some lotion on the newly shaven section, and also you're as sturdy as new! i do no longer recommend making use of any save-offered wax or Nair kits! risky corporation!

Just trim it. But not too short or it will hurt. That is why I don't recommend shaving. Ouch!
