Democrats are desperate for power, not truth.

What i tell my liberal democrat AZZHOLE friends is; If you think Liberalism works, go back and ask the Romans, and Greeks! They were so beside themselves WINNING back the POWER!! But in reality the SENATE holds the key! 60 votes needed just for a bill to get to the presidents desk! As you see in the last vote to DEMORALIZE our troops, 2 Dems actually crossed party lines! For the 2 years NOTHING is going to be passed of any significence. DONT WORRY! They dont have the POWER. And better yet the Dem's have NO platform...:) Listen how their base is running FULL SPEED, but the primaries are almost a year away! Its still about bashing Bush! Americans elected them this past election for CHANGE. Americans are waking up that CHANGE is not happening! They made promises they knew they could not keep. They know Americans dont follow the process that is needed for making such changes! They dont have the 60 votes in the Senate. They dont have the 2/3 majority in the house if and when the President VETO'S a bill. Their biggest issue of timeline and cutting funds for the troops has now made them look ANTI-AMERICAN. You will not see a Democrat in office as President in Jan 2009! Thats a guarentee. They fooled the FOOLS once, and now its catching up to them...which is a laugher and a half.

Both democrats and republicans practice selective filtering of facts, to only use those that support their agenda.

One side wanting to say that the country is safer may claim that overall crime is down.
The other side, wanting to show that the country is NOT safer, will claim that VIOLENT crime is UP.

They are both right and telling the truth - but the listener must be careful to notice how the supporting information has been sliced or narrowed to fit.

There is only one truth and you have your facts mixed up.
