Never watch fox news and never said i was a capitalist, some of you seem to be over willing to jump to conclusions, mind control in action. I like talking s**t, especially if it p***es you off, mind control in action again.

Yes, they are expert at playing the politics of envy. On programmes such as "question time", they constantly appeal to the gallery and peoples prejudices, rhetoric instead of reasoned argument. It only works with stupid people, because, if they weren't stupid, they would realise that they were being patronised and manipulated.
They are also very good at sharing out the National Cake, whilst at the same time, removing the incentives of those that bake the cakes in the first place. They have a 'top down' controlling attitude, as in Communism.
I think you have a point about insecurity, they would rather everybody failed, rather than allow some people to become winners. Egalitarian. They think too much and feel too little. They are mean minded, no sense of humour, and enjoy banning things. They are no good at business, so they hate Capitalists and Democracy and are unpatriotic. One could go on forever about them. Can't smoke, drink, get fat, but abortion is OK. And the state wants to bring your kids up.

You are right i call Socialism the politics of envy . Socialism is one side of the coin i call Tolitarism the other being Fascism they both support a strong state with dictatorial powers and invasive security measures they also rewrite history . Thought control is also shared like political correctness and use of censorship. Both Socialists and Fascists in the main are insecure loners in extreme cases possibly sociopaths they cant stand real freedom /democracy be it free markets and opportunity or the mixing of cultures/races and want to dominate others.

Socialists in the UK didn't get the government they voted for. Not through fraud as in the USA, but through politicians doing what they do best: 'Lying through their teeth.'
I'm not envious, nor am I insecure, but, although I would call my self a socialist, I would be reluctant to be linked to New Labour. It's the government who feels the need to suppress thought and create a Granny state. These are not typical socialist traits - in fact they are right-wing. Can I use the 'f' word? Let's say a little bit right of the right.

Are you going to give any examples?
Have you ever lived under a socialist government or visited a socialist country or a country with a heavily socialist-influenced constitution (such as France, Norway or Sweden)? What are your experiences of socialism (outside the Fox News Network obviously)?
Posing such a broad question with no supporting substance is just a point of view and as such carries no weight whatsoever.

.....and capitalists are never envious I suppose....? What do you think motivates them - an inexorable desire to donate to charity?
Why don't you spend an evening watching that capitalist mouthpiece which is Fox News if you want to see mind control at work (not that your average Fox News viewer has much of a mind to control).
Now....any chance of an example of socialist mind control or are you just going to talk sh*t?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I am socialist in both idea and speech and do not envy anyone and do not know any socialists who do. If you are looking at the present government, they are very far from being socialist, they are right of centre.
Can you give an example please?

Those with a Right-leaning view want to keep their fellow man down, i.e. the 'I'm All Right Jack' lack of compassion, wanting to keep those poorer than themselves 'in their place'.
