You know, if it were a guy answering he would probably save the person he would be allowed to have s*x with while on the deserted island nearby.
If it's a woman answering, the term girlfriend has a different significance. To her, it is a choice of saving the person who gave her life and raised her and saving someone she goes shopping with. Unless her mother is vindictive, cruel, backstabbing and a total nutcase who tries to ruin her daughter's life all the time. Then the choice would probably be the friend.

Depends on a lot of things.
Who of them do I know is ready to die, who is the least scared of it?
Which one has more to live for (does either one have a terminal illness).
Who am I closer to, if one is on one side of the island and one on the other side, who do I have the better chance of saving.
It's far too easy to say one or the other, without you being there at that exact moment, for your brain would process so many things in a second to determine what you should do.

although ur GF has an importance in your life, n life may be a bit dificult for u with out her, but i would say save ur MOM, coz u can find many GF's, but u could never find ur MOM, once lost is lost forever. go for ur MOM.
