As an ex-military man I respect Montel...despite the psychic crap- I have left him several very nice Myspace messages, and requested to be a "friend"...neither he or his staff has ever responded. The same can be said of Lydia Lunch...I'm a HUGE Richard Kern fan, and she's always been creepy/sexy!...I've left her sevarl nice messages/kudos, and she also has never responded. Am I wrong in feeling utterly jaded? Is my fight to boycott them rash?

I think you are fully justified in your decision to boycott Montel Williams. Just because he is partially retarded with MS is no reason not to respond to your prose.

I am sure celebs have other people run those sites for them and they probably get tons of "friends" requests that I wouldnt think are ever responded too - since they themselves arent that involved w the site.

It's very tough to boycott people who don't know you exist. These people get tons of letters etc. a week. They can't answer them all or maybe they thought you were stalker creepy.

the people on those sites are probably not on the sites very often... but they have staff that do it for them.
I do know that Weird Al, himself, looks at all of his friend requests. :)
