We've twins, - an they're 2 yrs. old.
We just wanted one "good" one.
Sometimes it's 1/2 the work, - since they're pre-occupied with each other. Other times it's 4 times the work, - since you strap down one and the other one is running loose.

They won't help you have twins. Yes, people who undergo fertility treatment sometimes have twins. Well more often than if you don't use fertility drugs.. However, the doctors will not waste their time on someone who is already fertile, just to let you have twins. There are plenty of people out there that want to have just one that need their help.

The fertility clinic can only help you conceive with fraternal twins. Identical twins are only produced through heredity. Your egg would split to form two babies. A fertility clinic could either have you take fertility meds to increase your egg release (more eggs at one time) or implant you with fertilized eggs. Either way, the result can be multiple babies but not identical twins. Sorry, sweetie, but if they don't run in YOUR family, your chances are zip.

You will need to prove a history of infertility (at least one year of TTC with no luck) before any fertility treatment center in the US will see you. Also, fertility treatments are prescribed now to try to minimize the chance of multiples, so twins would not be a sure things (the vast majority of clomid, IUI, and IVF cycles result in single babies, although the chance of multiples is higher than average).
I have read several studies that say eating a lot of dairy and drinking milk can increase your chance of fraternal twins, due to the growth hormones given to the cows. Strange, but true, so start drinking lots of milk! See the article Iink below to read more about it. Good luck!

I don't understand why you want twins to bad. Sure they are special but aren't single babies too? One baby can be a hand full and two would be so hard. Beside when you have one baby you give all your time to them and your heart. When you have two babies at once you really have to cut your time with them in half. When you could be hold your sleeping baby you can't you are having to feed and change the other one. Don't push yourself to have two at once having just one is special and full filling as is.
