jigsaw got his throat cut in it. i wonder if he died--you have hit upon the method of sequels!! If he is for sure dead, then MAYBE there won't be another one in any sequel. But...that really doesn't hold true with horror movies. How many times have they killed Jason? At the end of almost every one of them, he looks pretty gone. And then, there he is again.
The reason Saw 3 was crappy....the first one was a new thing. It hasn't really been done like this before. And like so many movies with parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 22...it loses impact after you keep watching this stuff over and over again. It is tough to keep it all fresh for the audience. There are exceptions to every rule, but for the most part, once you see this the first time, it is stale.
There will be a SAW 4. As long as there are paying aundiences for a movie francise, it continues. Don't know if it will be renewed and fresh again. I guess we will see when it comes out. Our only hope is to keep finding new horror to watch and enjoy. It is getting harder and harder to find good stuff. Always give the more obscure movies a chance. You never know what will catch your mind.

I didn't think it was that bad-obviously was never going to be as good as the other 2.
I found the main problem was it focused more on Jigsaw & his protege rather than the puzzles/murders,and was too predictable at the end.In 1 & 2 you could really empathise with the victims and could imagine being in their situations-that's what made it so good,you had to think 'would I take my own eyeball out to save my life...could i do that?',whereas with this one it was different-couldn't 'feel part of the movie'. It's not the end because part 4 is out later in the year,I just hope they return to the magic formula of 1 & 2.

Saw 3 was disappointing, the first was definitely the best and the second was ok/good. They shouldn't bother doing a fourth one if the third ones anything to go by. There just cashing in on the success of the first film

I gave up on the fim about half way through. I was really dissapointed with it. So did Jigsaw die? Even though he makes my skin crawl, I think Tobin Bell has got an amazing voice

what do you mean crap!
you need to watch the 1st 2 films to understand it. obviously jigsaw did die when his throat got cut.
