I'll give you three guesses!! They play in the Bronx. Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Babe Ruth, Roger Maris, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Ron Guidry, Don Mattingly, and a number of other greats played on this team. And finally, with Derek Jeter leading the way this team will win it's 40th American League pennant and 27th World Series Title.

The St Louis Cardinals > are the best "team" in baseball, until someone else wins the WS.
The Cardinals have won the Central Division 6 of the past 7 years(obviously a group that knows how to win). I get so sick of hearing they only won 83 games last year >they won enough games to win, right<
Name any other "team" that could have won, only having 1 regular healthy enough to play in as many as 145 games, losing their dominant closer for the season and their #2 starter for the stretch run and the post season.

It depends how you look at it, if you look at the history of baseball, its the New York Yankees becuase of their success and winning 26 Championships. If your looking at the past years you would have to go with the teams that have won Championships. Overall though, the NY Yankees are the best team ever.

If I knew I would drop a couple of $1000 on that team to win in October. But until I can see the future I'll have to let them play all the games. But the champs right now are the Cards!

The current Los Angeles Angels. Only drop Bartolo Colon and bring back the old Nolan Ryan Express. That would be a little more unstoppable than the Angels are already going to be this year.
