When you make a copy it is ILLEGAL.
Preserve your genuine XP CD .
Keep the CD cover safe as it contains your regn code.
Update regularly in Windows Update.
In your computer
Connect to
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools
" activate windows".
Now you will know whether your XP is legal or Not !!!!

You will have to purchase a genuine copy to make it legal and reformat.
