Now you have me asking questions in my mind. like why does a car go 120 miles ph if the speed linit is no higher than 75 , 65 or 55 depending on where you are! and why do men have nipple if they will never use them!♥

For the same reason that a package of six pair of socks comes in a resealable package. I suppose somebody is worried about those going stale, too.

Croutons are fried cubes of bread.
They don't have to be stale.
Anyway, if they weren't in airtight packages they'd be mouldy.
