Curious if things like Java will work on the PSP browser, also any thoughs (good or bad) you have about the PSP I would love to hear, as I am considering a new handheld gaming system and have been researching them online, so feel free to share here to help with my decision.

Thanks!

No, the PSP is not Java compatible. It will run Flash 6 or Flash Lite games/apps that do not require regular keyboard or dial-pad functions. It will run games/apps that are Mouse and Cursor key compatible. You can check out a site like http://www.psponme.com

I like the PSP. I have had it for over a year now. You can play music, videos, and games. You can also go online to surf the web and even chat using sites like http://www.meebo.com or http://www.ebuddy.com
