Just a little fyi....if you are deleting it because someone is checking in on what your doing then you can download programs to hide and encrypt your files. You really don't HAVE to delete it if it is for that reason. I use a program that ran me a couple bucks but now I don't have to worry about deleting everything everytime I'm done surfing the web. I just surf while I am in the program and then when I close out my internet history stays in the program, not on your PC.

It isn't cheap or free software, but I highly
recommend Zone Alarm Pro. You can
get a slightly different version of that program
in a bundle, but that one isn't as good
in my opinion. Unless the company has
gotten rid of this privacy function, (mine
is old) ZA Pro will delete whatever files you
select, and does this a lot faster than
Adaware or Spybot. Plus it manages
your cookies for you. You'll need to turn
off the autocomplete feature in IE, and
let a plug-in like yahoo toolbar do that,
or you will run into problems. Ciao.

There's a program called East-Tec Eraser that really does the job. They claim this in their website:
"Eraser goes beyond the U.S. Department of Defense standards for the permanent erasure of digital information and removes every trace of sensitive data from your computer, including Internet history, Web pages, pictures, unwanted cookies, chat room conversations, and all traces of files, confidential documents, e-mails deleted in the past, or entire drives, floppy disks, CDs/DVDs, USB flash drives."
I tried it and it's quite good. Got mine 20% OFF at dieselsoft.com [ http://www.dieselsoft.com/detail.php?id=377 ]
