Okay, I'm 14, and don't wear makeup except for lip gloss. I want to wear a little more than that, except I want it to be nice and subtle. I have blond hair, navy blue eyes, and really fair skin. I don't need mascara because my eyelashes are already black and long, and when I wear it it sticks out like a sore thumb. And so does eyeliner. So, anyway, just tell me what colors to use and what brands and what kinds of makeup.

okay, i have the exact same features as you, blue eyes, blonde hair, and fair skin so i know what you need to use. alright, when i was your age, which was about seven years ago, there was a whole different style of makeup, but what i wear today would be light brown eyeshadow since i have very light skin so it warms up my look, (but make sure it is light!), i wear a pinkish lip gloss, no one under the age of 25 should wear lipstick, and pink blush, the pink blush helps brighten up your face in a more subtle way than red so use a lighter pink blush! this combination of makeup will really bring out you features and will show the beauty of your fair skin. i suggest you use a more popular brand of makeup, like the ones you see on commercials on tv because those are usually the better ones. (i like Clinique!)

Clearly, you are already pretty without wearing much makeup. That's great! However, Estee Lauder has a really nice subtle brown eyeliner that is a duo (it comes with an eyebrow comb). I forgot the name; I used to use it, and got great results, but I don't wear eyeliner much now, it's such a pain.

You don't have to use any particular brand, but if you have fair skin, you don't usually have very pink cheeks. A nice rosy pink would look nice, but don't overdo it. With your classic american looks, you would look like an oversized doll if you applied to much.

Your lipgloss should be a pretty dark pink, if you don't wear any other makeup. If you wear a light color, you probably look all washed out and it's no wonder you need other makeup! Since you have light skin, dark lipgloss and nothing else will bring out your other features, and you won't need liners, eyeshadow, blush, foundation or powder.

For a base, it depends on your skin type. It's your choice if you want to use foundation, powder or concealor, or all of the. What I do is I dab on some concealor, not too much, I blend some foundation on the apples of my cheeks, my t-zone and a dot on my chin. Then I brush all that over with loose mineral powder. Then I use a light bronzer for blush, because it makes your skin look warm. Next, I use a light pink eyeshadow on my lids, and I swipe a rich brown on the crease. I wear brown eyeliner, because it's subtle and it makes my blue eyes look bluer. But that's your choice. I also wear a little mascara, but you don't have to. Then I put on lip gloss and I'm done.

For a soft, natural look:

Put a shade of eye shadow that's a little lighter than your skin on your lid. (in your case maybe a very very light pink/peach shade)

From the crease, and just a little below your brow, apply a shadow that's a shade darker than your skin.

Right underthe brow apply white, do the same for the inner corner of your eye.

Instead of liner, take a light brown shadow and smudge it into your lash line with a brush. This will be less harsh than a liner.

Apply a light pink blush to the apples of your cheeks.

I use L'Oreal's Bare Naturale powder foundation every day and I love it. It's similar to Bare Minerals, but nearly as expensive and can be found in any drugstore/grocery store/Walmart/Target/Kmart. It's light enough that you don't feel you're wearing make up, but does a good job evening out your skin tone and controls oil. Cover Girl just came out with something similar, but I haven't tried it yet, and I can't imagine it would be much different.

For eyes, try a light lavender, peach, pink or lilac for a spring look, or try a light brown to bring out your blue eye color. I like L'Oreal's Wear Infinite best, but Cover Girls Eye Enhancers are good too.

If your eyeliner "sticks out too much" you're probably using one that's too dark. Try one that's light gray or light brown and smudge it really well with your fingertip or q-tip. I know it seems weird, but brown actually goes really well with blue eyes, but with fair skin and blond hair, I would make sure any colors you use are a light tone, to avoid looking very dramatic and/or garish.

I'm 14 too. I wanted the same kind of makeup, especially when i break out. Subtle would be wearing Dream Matte Mousse on top of the blemishes & sweeping Bare Minerals skin color on your face. Then get some of their color radiance. Sweep this on your cheeks, not to heavy, & don't push on your face.

Use a face powder closest to your complexion like translucant or next to natural by Sasha Products.Use Blue and Brown eyeshadow together, the blue shades will intensify the colour of your eyes and the brown will add contrast to make blue really pop. You can use Avon products,I do and they work really well!

I have same thing as you, except, i'm twelve, Get some sort of eye shadow and eye liner. To make the eyeliner lighter, use heat from a fire, (ex-Liter) then let it dry, put it on when it solid again. Then you can use any type of eye shadow, if it goes on dark, dip the applicater in corn startch. Then put it on.

Pop Beauty makes wonderful, subtle makeup in perfect formulations such that you almost cannot mess up. In particular I recommend Pop Beauty blush in Sunset. Sunset is actually two distinct colors in one compact, one is a soft peachy-pink--great for daytime or when you really want to play up your eyes--and the other is a true pink--perfect for days when you just want to throw a little color on your face and go. They're so easy to apply with your blush brush, just apply a little to the apples (round part) of your cheeks, temples, forehead and the tip of your chin (the parts of your face that naturally get color when you spend time in the sun). http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=jYUImKoBjag&offerid=99622.745919&type=2&subid=0

If you want to try a foundation, go with Splash Mineral Foundation in Natural Glow. It basically looks like baby-pink powder, but it will soften your overall look without 'covering you up' like most foundations. http://www.cherryculture.com/product.php?productid=16585&cat=0&page=1

These products come in nice, generous sizes so they will last you a good long while, too.

Wow, very bright girl! A llight cream or light tan eyeshadow would probably work well for you. Instead of wearing a foundation or powder, you can use a tinted moiturizor.
