The Giver~hands down! I have 1 chapter left and itz really good. I have read That was then this is now but i liked the outsiders more

The Giver, because I've actually read this one. You might want to try reading Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry as well.

Hmmm - I liked both books too. My daughter is reading The Giver right now. I would have to go with that one as I feel like I am discovering it all over again as she tells me about it.

THE GIVER WAS FREAKIN AWESOME! I read it in...fourth or fifth grade and it was freakin' awesome then too. Wow. Now that you mention it, im gonna go read it again when i go to the library.
