I have always been against wearing fur but it wasnt until I saw this the other day that I realised what extent of suffering & torture these animals go through so that someone can wear an item of fur clothing.

Please do not watch this if u are easily upset. I could only watch the first bit & had to switch it off. It made me cry & feel sick to the stomach :-(

I think, although extremely disturbing, people should know exactly what happens to these poor, poor animals just for their fur.

Garrett B - I appreciate your comments but did u watch the vid?? How can u say thats exaggerated??
I agree that alot of charities are there for making money only but if more people were aware of these fur farms, I believe that less people would wear fur. For me, its not the fact of wearing fur, its the fact of how these animals are tortured for their fur.

People are not educated enough into this. These videos should be shown to educate people. If they really have to have animals fur, the animals should be humanely euthanised first - not made to suffer to such an absolutely disgusting extent as shown in the vid. That is what unfortunately happens & God only knows what I would do to the sick bastards that do that to those defenceless animals day in, day out.

As an accessory I am against it yes, but in countries and societies where it's traditional to wear skins and furs it's more acceptable. It's the way these poor animals are kept and skinned that's the real issue, I can't watch the video because I already know what happens and I don't want to see it again. It's horrific that we humans think we have the right to use other sentient beings for our own personal needs.

Can't watch your video, im strongly against it. It makes me physically sick to the stomach that vanity is more important to some humans than the well being of another creature on this earth. Its disgusting. I think that if humans started getting skinned then people would then start being against it because it would be considered 'sick' that someone was wearing a human as say a hat or a handbag.
Its ignorance and the world will never change. We will never be able to change the selfish behaviour of humans and animals will continue to die so that people can walk around in their skin.

Yes, I'm against it. I'm vegan, in part, because I learned how animals are treated, not only for "fashion", but for food (including eggs and dairy). I felt as though I couldn't eat meat (and eventually dairy and eggs) and be a Christian, knowing that I am called to do everything within my power to preserve and protect the earth with which God blessed us.

I do have two pairs of leather loafers, a pair of leather boots and a leather bomber jacket. All of which I got way before I became a vegetarian. The jacket I got free. (I met a guy on a cool May evening at a local street fair, he loaned me the jacket and didn't want it back. I never saw him again or even remember his name) One pair of loafers I bought for only $4 at a consignment shop, the other pair on store closing clearance at a Spiegel outlet for only $2. I also got the boots free and second hand, though I think there is a hole in one of the soles, which is why I don't wear them as often.

My current financial situation prevents me from donating the shoes and jacket and buying replacements. However, it is not something I will ever do again.

Thx for the video!

I'm against fur on human.

Honestly, I did wear leather jacket some years back. It was the company's annual gift to all the staff.
But, I couldn't get rid of my guilty conscience. So I gave away that jacket.

My regret is that I probably should have voiced out against the company so they won't repeat the same thing again.

Personally, I think animal fur is disgusting. Why would you want to wear an animal? If you think about it, it's kind of like wearing another person. It's horrible and unethical.

I'm definitely against animal fur, leather etc. Fur looks bad and leather (in a car or in large amounts) smells like **** anyways.

SAY NO TO LEATHER/FUR!

Yes!!!
I am a former model and think it is disgusting that animals are used in the fur trade!!
Often not even humanely killed as in leopard and tiger fur pelts obtained through poachers.
Fur belongs on animals not humans
There is enouhg synthetic fur about that looks just as good.

Yeah I thoroughly believe you!! I shop at many of the comparable places as you, yet I in basic terms don't understand why people might layout a shirt that sells for $800, or a $10,000 gown. i admire fur stuff for iciness because of the fact its heat and comfortable, yet I in no way purchase real fur....questioning approximately those amazing animals makes me so unhappy. Plus, in case you like the clothier stuff, then choose for it (nicely as long as u could have the money for it haha, for sure dont purchase clothier stuff in case you in basic terms have like $50 to spend). for my area i'm no longer all that into clothier shirts and stuff, yet i think of denims and jackets are high quality.

Its very sad and i know my friend has a fur coat, she is always wearing it. She says that it is fake rabbit fur, but from the Macy incident, you know, fake rabbit fur was real dog fur, i do not believe her. After seeing your video, i was shocked! Just think: if your pet went something through that, get the fake! If you really like the stylle , get the fake!
