Dont worry - you arent more likely to have a miscarriage because you have had one before.

Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancy

Sorry about the miscarriage, congrats on the pregnancy now. I would think you're odds of having another one are pretty slim. I had a miscarriage some years ago and are moving along nicely with my current pregnancy (23 weeks). It was hard for me at first because I kept thinking about possible miscarriage for the first several weeks. Then around week 7, I felt this very reassuring feeling that what is meant to be will be and pregnancy has been fine. I miscarried at 9 weeks, so once I reached past that time frame I felt a lot better. Good luck to you.

I have been there myself, but have not been ready to try again yet. I would like to say well done to you and I will be thinking of you, hoping it all go ok.
My midwife did tell me that I would have my first scan next time round at 6-7 weeks. May be if you could get in for a scan it might help ease the stress of wondering if everything is ok.
Its easier to say than do...but try to stay relax and don't do anything too stressful for the first 12 weeks.
Good Luck>

Two of my daughters-in-law had miscarriages the first time around, but both went on to become pregnant again and carried their babies to full-term with no problems. Not only that, they each went on to a further successful pregnancy. I used to work with a lot of young people and miscarriages with first pregnancies seemed to be very common, but with no effect on subsequent pregnancies. Good luck for the following months and your baby's birth.

It all depends on the reason of the miscarriage 9 months ago.

I feel for you, been there myself.

The best thing to do is talk to your midwife / health visitor. They will have the best advice. Please be cautious following advice from strangers as some people will tell you to do funny things or take supplements, none of which should be done without professional advice.

You won't have another one ok. Just don't worry and do not over exert yourself and you will carry this one to term.
