Every scientific invention has got its own merits and demerits. In almost all spheres of life computer has occupied an important place. If used for the welfare of the people it is a best gadget. Whereas the virus and spam it generates by misuse is a sorry spectacle. In the beginning computer was seen as a best gadget human can conceive of. Now with the increase in cyber crimes throughout the world, the investigating officers are breaking their head to contain it.In the education and health sector and on-line banking, e-ticket, e-governance if properly monitored can bring a revolution and transparency. nagarajan.

It's importance is in it's convenience for home use. If I'm cooking and want to know a good recipe to use...I just go to Google. Or my husband and I might be trying to remember a song or how old a celebrity is...Google. Email is easier then phone calls, and surfing the internet is entertainment.

On the other hand, from a business perspective the computer is a essential. We cannot do business without it.

It's not that important (6/10 usefulness) however the impact it made on the way we communicate with other is very big! WIthout msn messenger or Yahoo messenger, we wouldn't be able chat with friends. However nothing still beats socializing with humans in a bar or cafe.

it can get addicted being on the computer all day
but it save money one gas lol
