Aren't dating but we are friends with benefits. It hasn't created any problems really it's just made work more fun and you actually look forward to work. We are good friends and we made a promise to each other that it won't change our work relationship. We would end our sexual relationship with each other if it was vital to save our work relationship. We didn't really have any challenges because when we work together it's just the two of us on shift. Depending on how many people are working together it's a challenge to how you react to one another in the workplace. Another challenge I would think is what you expect of each other in the work place and outside of work. Keeping personal business from work is another.

I had a 10 year relationship with someone I met at work, we worked together 5 of those years. Even tho everyone knew, we never talked about it and were professional at all times. The challenges were the prying coworkers, the beauty was someone who could appreciate your struggles and could relate.

outcome, challenges, beauties ? strange choice of headings for this type of question...
the only two times I've heart of a good outcome ( happy- relationship- wise and not cheap-affair-embarrassment-wise)
was, when as soon as they realized they were actually in love, one of them quit his job before they started an affair.
All other stories turned basically out to be frustrating for at least one of the partners after they broke up, as they had to confront their ex-lover every day, gossip, hurt, shame...you name it.

Not a good idea. People love to gossip about it and if it doesn't work out, you still have to see the person everyday and it can be very uncomfortable. Especially if it was a bad breakup.

the good thing... I never had to worry if he's cheating on me because I see him everyday...

the bad thing... we couldn't finished less work when we were together because we were busy doing something else... plus eventually he became too transparent for me, i saw him too much...
