Be careful, even if you have liked him a long time you sure don't want a player - that's just asking for heartbreak. Wait until he makes a choice and a definant one at that.

Be very, very careful. It may be a game, yes but there's a greater risk than that. If he genuinely feels for you and you for him then it's a good thing but it's also dangerous. If you two get into a relationship and it doesn't work out then it could destroy your friendship you've worked so long to build. So you have to ask yourself is the potential relationship worth the risk of permanently losing an old friend?

certain, this "old guy" likes Monty Python. you won't be able to imagine how quite lame the shows that pass for comedy on television at the instantaneous are, after gazing Python and the first few years of Saturday evening stay.
