Muhammad hit it on the money.
"And no bearer of burdens shall bear the burdens of another".
I gave this great thought and alhumdulillah it is really applied for the hereafter and this life only if Allah wills. I have been taught religion by the grace of allah alhumdulillah and not my parents. I am the only islamic one of my family. And if it wasn't for allah, I could have very much died as an unbeliever. I am not a perfect muslim by a long shot for I am a convert of 5 years now. So, that makes me wonder at times what is really the will of allah. I will pay for the sins of my kin in this life, but am not bound to them in the hereafter alhumdulillah. I take it all as a learning experience. All praises due to allah and peace and blessings be upon the prophet muhammad. Salaam(peace)!

Parents behaviour affects their offsprings. If one of your parent is an addict, you can not live in a serene atmosphere. In turn your mood is also affected very much. You may call it a sin or anything, it affects. If your father incur debt and you are living in your father's own house, there is a chance that the house may be seized. These are the various ways by which we may get affected by parents. nagarajan.

Actually no you will be judged on your own life, your own actions, but you can certainly suffer the consequences of your parents sin while on earth.

No!!!!! every man for him/herself.
no matter how old we are, we all are accountable for our individual actions. meaning we each one does from his or her own perspective.
Sin is anything illegal. unless something has changed. what we don't pay for with man we gone answer to GOD for. accountable.accountability
