Weight Watchers is awesome! No other "diet" plan has ever worked for me!
If you're looking for low point snacks and aren't in the mood for fruits and veg, try 1/2 cup Fiber One or 1/2 Cup All Bran with Extra Fiber. The fiber is great for you, plus a serving is 0 points! This has been a lifesaver for me!
For lunch I usually like to make a salad loaded with vegetables, chicken, raisins and sometimes almonds or cheese. I use Newman's Own low fat dressing and it's really tasty (and filling!).
I think the key is to not push yourself too hard at first. Maybe concentrate on eating healthy and then incorporate exercise after you're used to that.
2 other final tips...drink as much water as you can. It flushes out your system and it always seems to make me feel great. Also, try to vary how much you eat each day so your body doesn't get used to one specific amount of food each day...this would cause your metabolism to slow down. Variety is the spice of life!

I have been on weight watchers for a few months, But mum has been doing it for 3 years and is now a leader. She went from over 130kg to 60kg and has never looked better because she lost it slowly and the right way, it's great.
A few little suggestions rather than receipies, For a fuller porridge/ cereal, use couscous in it. Tastes awesome.
A wonderful carbonarra-
Saute some silverbeet, onion, lowfat bacon, and basically and veg you want. Empty into a bowl. In the same pan use a tab spoon and a half of ww margerine (hot pan), while the butter is melting sprinke over a tab sp of flour and stir. Once it's a paste pour in a cup of skim milk and a tab sp of tomato paste. Add the veg back into pan.
Serve over rice noodles or other low points pasta/rice.
Enjoy- good luck, and the magazine and web site have awesome recepies

I've been on weight watchers for 1 weeks now and I've lost 2 pounds.... I started walking on my tread mill for 30 mins a day 15 min in the am and 15min the pm.. I love the fiber one bars I eat one a day.. I don't like that many veggies so I drink v8 juice it's 2 points.... the biggest change for me is I hate water, but I am drinking 4 of those weight watcher cups. you only need to drink 2 but I lose weight faster when I drink a lot of water. 4 cups is 1 gallon.... well pray for me and I'll do the same....oh when I get hungry in the night I'll get some carrots the baby ones, their sweet!!..and 0 points

I've been on it for 16 weeks now, not much weight loss but I've not been really sticking to it. I am just so happy to see myself getting healthier, lower cholesterol and all... I do want to tell you that the Hostess 100 calorie packs chocolate cakes with chocolate icing are AWESOME! They satisfy that chocolate time-of-the-month craving and are only 1 point per pack! :-) Watch out with the other 100 calorie snack packs like Nabisco and such, some of them are 3 points each! (That really upset me, I thought I was doing good!) Also the fat-free sugar-free jello pudding made with skim milk is also great! (I have a real sweet tooth--can ya tell?!) As far as recipes I can't help much, it's just me and so I've been doing a lot of Healthy Choice, Lean Cusine, and such... Oh yeah--I don't know how many points but the new FiberOne oats and peanut butter/oats and chocolate bars are also very tasty and filling! 35% of your fiber for the day! ;-)

Hi.. i have been on weight watchers 6 months now and I have lost 24 pounds. I started at 180 and I am 5 foot tall. I am pretty satisfied. the website dwlz.com has alot of point values for alot of different things, many restraunts and it has alot of recipes, you should check it out!. pickels and any green veggie are zero points when raw.. some cooked ones gain points so be careful.
good luck!

Most weight loss programs are scams. Apparently weight watchers is the best one you can use, and it's not that great. Whatever you do, don't try LA Weightloss. My mom was taking a program there, and it turns out they scam you big time.

Buy baby carrots, apples & a pack of almonds from costco. Every day before you go to work, prepare two snack baggies of: 6 baby carrots 1/4 an apple 6 almonds =100 calories & VERY HEALTHY. Eat one between breakfast & lunch, then between lunch & the time you go home. It helps keep your metabolism active in a healthy way.
