Under Samsara, if the cycle is complete and the world as a physical whole and spiritual whole is destroyed does this entail the destruction of the atman? If this is true than what about the atman?

Are you talking of Brahma, the creator OR Brahamm, the eternal god

Brahmaa the creator is destroyed during Maha-Pralaya... and Brahmaa, vishnu Mahesh go back to their source that is Turiya/Aum/Brahmm.

When Brahmm manifests the world again, he manifests Brahmaa again who creates the cosmos once more

and this cycle continues

Your question, I presume is incorrect. Brahman can never be destroyed since it has no origin or destruction. It only exists and nothing else. All the perceptions of the world and its myriad form is illusion. When ignorance is destroyed by the dawn of knowledge, you will realize your SELF which is nothing but Brahman. nagarajan.

fact is when we go to eastern religion we get alittle of the bible distorted to no end-when I as a Jew went to Jesus i got born again=John 3 repented and saved=

think about it what does worshiping a Brahman bull do for you??
