We are thinking of purchasing a pool table to on our outside patio and under a roof. It would be completely under cover, but exposed to the heat and humidity of the Florida sun. We have been told that a table made of oak and or teak would weather well, but I'm still concerned about warpage and oxidation.
We've considered outdoor pool tables, but they are very expensive. Please reply with your experiences of having a pool table undercover but outside.

If you cover it up with a tarp also it shouldnt be so bad. Or just get a cheap enough table that you dont mind replacing in four or five years.

We've had one outside under cover for a couple of years in hot & humid Australian weather and it seems fine
