Tearing his clothes, the high priest said, "What further need do we have of witnesses? "You have heard the blasphemy; how does it seem to you?" And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death.
Mark 15:1

Early in the morning the chief priests with the elders and scribes and the whole Council, immediately held a consultation; and binding Jesus, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate.
John 19:1-9

Pilate then took Jesus and scourged Him. And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and put a purple robe on Him; and they began to come up to Him and say, "Hail, King of the Jews!" and to give Him slaps in the face.

Pilate came out again and said to them, "Behold, I am bringing Him out to you so that you may know that I find no guilt in Him."

Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.

in no way was another man killed in the place of Jesus.

that would mean that all the people who were accusing Jesus could easily mistake him for a man that "looks" like him? i dont think so. if there was someone that you truly hated you would remember their face.

and on top of that, how would you explain the empty tomb? unbelievers would say that Jesus' disciples came and took the "fake Jesus'" body from the tomb. which that in itself is a crack up. that would mean that these unskilled, untrained, weak of men would be able to fight off all the guards that stood watch at the tomb. the guards would have been highly trained members of the roman army. some would argue that the guards feel asleep and thats when the disciples took advantage of them. once again i can prove that wrong in informing you that these guards would have been great in number and there would be no way all would fall asleep. even if for some reason there was just a few, the guards would not simply fall asleep on the job because that would cost them their lives. the punishment for sleeping on the job would have been death. and in no way were they going to want to let anyone get by them. and if by some miracle, the disciples got by the guards they would have a 2 ton bolder to push out of the way to get the body in the tomb. highly unlikely they would be able to push that.

it was Jesus on that cross, he died, and he is risen. do not be mistaken my friend

Jesus came for this very purpose to die for the sins of the whole world, so that people could enter into a relationship with God. He said in John 10: 17-18

"The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life— only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

Here Jesus predicted His death and His resurrection.

It was verified by the Roman authorities that Jesus had died and Joseph got permission to take Jesus' body off the cross and bury it in a tomb. (The Romans authorities were even surprised that Jesus had already died). Jewish religious leaders asked Roman authorities to put guards at the tomb to make sure no one would fool with his dead body, steal it and then invent a resurrection story.
