Up until about a month ago (when I went back to university) I was included in most things that my friends did on the weekend. Now that I've gone back, no ones contacted me, they won't reply to my messages, they have gone places without asking me and are just generally avoiding me. I had a disagreemant with one of them a while ago and he is the one I generally keep in touch with most of the time. Could it be that he got angry and either stopped telling me about the going-ons in the group or is spreading vicious rumours about me to the other members ? They have suddenly gone mysteriously quiet as well. What should I do?

It's possible that he one you had a misunderstanding with, spread false rumors about you. ask them what's goin on. start with you best bo. if they don't answer, then forget about them. they are prabably not good friends.
a true friend will always be there for you no matter what. and he'll be frank towards you. telling you if he is angry or not, showing you where you went wrong.
you shouldn't be depressed about this. you can have other friends where you are. I know that it is not easy to find true friends but start by being a true friend if you aren't and true friends will be attracted to you. remember, "birds of the same feathers flock together.
wish you the best.

Well if your friend is the one who usually let you know what was going on and hes mad hes probably not telling you. If anyone is asking why your not there maybe hes just saying you cant make it...even though he really doesnt want you there. Find someone else and ask them what going on. Rumors is a possibility as well....very high school..but possible. Sorry about what is going on, hope it get better. (Hey an idea: maybe you could invite people to do something, then you will definately be there and it might help make things smoother).

I don't know what guys do after a disagreement but you can ask what happened while you were away & ask how come you are left out of all the outings etc & at the same time say to your main mate you are sorry if you upset him & that you really did not mean it to hurt & that you were just mouthing off that day etc just use your own words but don't get into another arguement with him & if he cant say then to forget it that its ok
then find a new lot of friends
good luck
maybe they are tired of all the pranks lol

Face them aboth the theme, but discretly, first your best buddy and then another. Try to explain the situation and if it doesnt work the they are not the friends you thought they were and be thankfully of that, because you only want to be with people who cares about you.

I think your suspicions may be well founded, maybe you should find a different group of friends to hang out with
