I wouldnt bother if I were you. I went last year and just used american dollars. If you really wanted to use cambodian you might have to order it through your bank or something. I wouldnt think the post office etc keep these in stock! If you are flying into cambodia or anywhere near eg thailand you could change some at the airport. Have a great holiday!

hi not sure if you going cambodia direct? anyway usd . there currency is called rile, it is a breakdown of a dollar. 4000 rile 1 dollar 10000 rile is 2and a half dollars and so on. star with dollars if you start your journey via border, you will have many nice men offer to take you to a cambodian bank. for a fee of course. like anywhere take it easy with the use of currency, you will soon learn they know how to help you spend it,

Guess you mean money rather than human. I went to Cambodia last year, they charged me in USD and not in their money. Cost of staying in Phanom Penh for 3-4 days were 3 time more expensive than in Singapore and 10 times more than in Thailand.

Would be utterly pointless. Change money at loads of places near the markets and all banks. Most transactions will be in US dollars and your change will come in a combination of dollars and riel. I'd be surprised if you could even get riel here. Take some american dollars to cover arrival expenses then just change money. If you want to take travellers cheques then take them in dollars.

It's most unlikely unless you find an individual who wishes to get rid of them. Use dollars. They tend to work pretty much everywhere. Otherwise, buy some when you get there but change them back again before you leave - or give them away.

if you need to, bring USD and go there and change to local currency. You get very much better rates from there.
