You need an application to do that, something like photoshop.

You don't say what model of camera you have, but I thought all Casio cameras had the capability to save JPEG format pictures. The first thing I think you should do is go through the camera menus and find where to change the output format. My guess is that you've got it set to TIFF. Change it to the highest-quality JPEG. This way, you won't have to worry about conversion, plus you'll be able to store more pictures on your camera.
That doesn't help you with the pictures you've already taken, but it will keep you from having to worry about it in the future.

I tried the simplest approach I could think of
If you are using a windows based system this is what you do
1st download the pix from ur cam into ur computer
Now right click any of the pix you should see a Preview option in the popup menu
Click preview then when the pic opens go the save button (looks like a floppy disk) and click it
a dialogue box shows in that dialogue box you'll see a text box where you enter a new name for ur pic and a drop down menu "Save As Type" click on the drop menu and Chose JPEG then click save.
That should do it for most common formats other wise u need to get an application (some cams have their own applications shipped ) and u should find the "Save As" option or the "Export option on that applications file menu

Open them up and go to "file" then "save as" and select jpeg in the format drop down list. There may be a way to save all at once or automatically saving them as jpeg. I guess it depends on what program you're using. Hope this helps!

What is the format / file extension (.???) they are already in?
You can use either the supplied software to open then 'save a'.. .JPG.
Or save them to your PC and open 'Paint' (start/all prog/ Accessories/Paint) on the paint prog, go to file/open and navigate to your pictures. Open them one at a time and 'Save As Type .JPEG (this is the bottom box that has a drop down list under the name you give it.
My old Casio pic's were already JPEG.... I'd double check your settings etc..
Hope this helps.

I THINK this is what you do. Open the picture with what ever you normally use eg-photoshop, publisher, word etc then go onto FILE > SAVE AS> then under the part where you usually type in the name of what you want it to be called (it should be called "SAVE AS TYPE") you press the little arrow to and scroll down and choose JPEG or it mite be called JPG!!
Hope that helps!

i'll tell you the easiest way.
Let the pic you saved be called ABC. If its in the jpg format it will be ABC.jpg if its in the mp3 format it will be ABC.mp3...so all you have to do is right click and click on rename and name it ABC.JPEG it gets changed
